Multi device usage is now a fact. Users combine watching tv with googling information regarding what they are seeing or even shopping. This behavior opens multiple possibilities for home digital services.
For a retailer, we conducted qualitative user research with British families in order to further understand the needs and opportunities for new service offers. The sessions consisted on doing in-context interviews and resulted on several user archetypes and design principles that would be used to ideate concepts for new digital services.
